Johanneson Kitchen Remodel
A contemporary Scandinavian-modern kitchen with minimalist luxury finishes, warm timber detailing, and functional open-plan design.
Before
The original kitchen features an older, dated design with cream-toned cabinetry, laminate countertops, beige tiled splashbacks, and darker floor tiles. The layout feels enclosed and somewhat cramped due to bulky cabinetry, open shelving, and limited visual cohesion. Exposed storage and mismatched finishes contribute to a cluttered, utilitarian appearance. The peninsula partially divides the room but lacks the openness and functionality of a modern island design.
Work In Progress
After
The renovated kitchen has been transformed into a bright, spacious, contemporary cooking and entertaining space. The design introduces a more open-plan layout with improved flow, clean lines, and premium finishes. New floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, integrated appliances, and a large central island create a highly functional and visually refined environment. Light neutral tones combined with warm timber accents give the space depth and sophistication, while modern lighting and streamlined fixtures elevate the overall luxury feel.
